That's why we chose this name. Min stands for minutes and Qi for energy (more precisely life energy - from traditional Chinese medicine).Through sessions that last only a few minutes, we increase the inner power of employees and teams.
Our goal is to create a work environment where we can keep our energy up. For that, there should always be a place for small pit stops to recharge our batteries. That's why we often compare MinQi with a power station for the stressful everyday working life.

Our vision is to put the health & well-being of people back into focus and to meet & sustainably strengthen the mental, physical and social needs during their stressful workday.
The rapid development of technology brings many new opportunities & also some challenges.
MinQi is born out of the realization that the digitalization of our workplaces and the increasing speed of technological progress may present some great chances for humanity, but might also put us, humans, in danger. While machines have been made to reduce the workload of humans, some progress like instant communication technologies created new tasks to attend to and progressively demanded our attention to be constantly triggered by new impulses and stimuli. While the speed of technological progress may be exponential, the speed of our specie’s evolution follows a completely different rhythm (our last update took place around 20.000 years ago). Therefore, we believe that reflecting on the skills that make us humans irreplaceable (creativity, empathy, flexibility, cross-functional reasoning…) and on how to protect those skills is of utmost necessity if we want to prosper in this new digital work environment.
MinQi is about using old human knowledge about how our brain and body work and integrating this knowledge into our digital workdays to protect our abilities, happiness, and motivation. Methods like meditation, breath work, or acupressure can be our best allies to help us thrive and not burn-out. More generally, acknowledging our need for social interaction, regenerating times or physical movement belongs to a broader reflection on the role of humans at work in a digitalized future.

One of the main topics of SDG3 is prevention, which is a core aspect
of health policy. A particularly important aspect here is also the responsibility that companies bear for the health and well-being of
their employees. This is where we would like to make our contribution with MinQi.
SDG8 addresses the issue of decent work and economic growth. Particular emphasis is placed here on sustainable economic growth.
